ABOUT AMS consulting

AMS Consulting provides Project Management, Advertising & Marketing Campaigns, Writing & Editing, Strategic Analysis, and Film & Video Production to clients worldwide.

Alyson Stephan founded AMS Consulting in Los Angeles in 2008, developing and executing successful advertising and marketing plans for clients ranging from small business owners to major motion picture studios.  AMS Consulting works with local, national and international clients to provide project management, demographic and market research, strategic analysis, writing and editing, design and production of print ads, radio and TV spots, video promos and electronic press kits, email and direct mail campaigns, SEO and ROI marketing, social media management, creative direction, web design, corporate identity and branding, logos and photography.

Prior to AMS Consulting, Ms. Stephan founded ShineOla Films, LLC in 1998 creating award-winning marketing and advertising campaigns for over 100 feature films and video games with offices located in New York City and Los Angeles.  In addition to business development and client relations management, Alyson was responsible for concept development, creative direction, copywriting, and the design, production, and management of a range of projects including theatrical marketing campaigns, television and radio spots, print ads, corporate identity programs, trade advertising, marketing collateral, direct mail campaigns, exhibit graphics, web branding and site design.

At ShineOla Films, Alyson conceived and created highly successful national & international advertising campaigns for multimillion dollar projects with P&A budgets to match.  She has been nominated and won numerous advertising awards from prestigious sources such as The Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards and The Golden Trailer Awards.  Alyson was also responsible for PR and media relations, including the writing and placement of articles in industry trade publications, and working with research groups to provide clients with the best competitive positioning for their product.

Ms. Stephan is a published author, journalist, and independent filmmaker whose films have been broadcast and shown in festivals worldwide.  Alyson directs special shoots for promos, music videos, television and second screen, feature films, video games, electronic press kits (EPKs), and DVD Extras content.  Alyson's responsibilities include project management, marketing communications, traditional and interactive advertising, strategic analysis, writing and editing, public relations, and conceptual design and development of advertising campaigns and marketing collateral—managing creative teams and crews of up to 50 people. 

Alyson began her career as a disc jockey in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Tampa, Florida.  She received B.A.s in Communications and Writing from The University of Tampa, and completed her graduate studies in Filmmaking, Writing and Literature at New York University.
